Comment Policing

My apologies, but I've turned on Word Verification for comments to this blog. I have a serious personal objection to being used as an advertising medium for gold sellers, so I'm putting a stop to it.

Sorry for the inconvenience :(

I recently got a few of them on my WoW vids on youtube.. Either gold sellers or "WoW, *insert keylogging site here* gave me free epics for my level 70!! Check it out"

Annoying to say the least.. Luckily my blog hasnt been hit with the spam yet but I'd do the same faced with goldsellers. Cant be doing with them..

Cheeky little bastard 'goldsoon' even had the gall to post in this blog post. Because he's a registered blogger, word verification doesn't operate.

As such, I've now enabled comment moderation (and flagged him for objectionable content with Google), until such time as something's done about the little parasite.

I was about to advise you that if the gold selling adverts were from Goldsoon then you need to moderate, not just have word-verification.

Seems you realised this :)

The sooner we get that asshole off blogger the better, he must have run up thousands of flags by now!
